Jagan’s Fond Cousin Abhishek Reddy Dies

It is an established fact that YS Jagan Mohan Reddy shares very good ties with a few of the men in the YS family. Though he is at crossroads with his sisters Sharmila and Sunitha, he has good ties with Avinash Reddy, Abhishek Reddy and others.

Now, in what could be regarded as tragic news to Jagan, he has lost one of his fond cousins, Dr. YS Abhishek Reddy who passed away at the AIG hospital in Hyderabad a few hours back.

Abhishek Reddy is a doctor by profession and he is a close cousin of Jagan Mohan Reddy. In fact, he was one of the most trusted behind-the-scene men for Jagan, to the degree that Jagan reportedly contemplated the idea of fielding Abhishek from Kadapa parliament seat if Avinash gets jailed in YS Viveka murder case.

Abhishek had been operating as Lingala Mandal in-charge for YCP and shared the closest of bindings with Jagan. However, he faced extreme medical challenges in recent times and was being treated at the AIG hospital in Hyderabad for the last three months.

Those who know YS family from up close are commenting that losing Abhishek at such a young age is a tough pill for the family and more so for Jagan, who intended to bring Abhishek into active politics sooner than later.
