There’s a fine line of difference between political warfare and personal attacks. This line was crossed multiple times by certain YCP leaders between 2019-24, but things are slowly starting to change in the NDA tenure now. Babu, being the veteran that he is, is nurturing healthy politics.
The same is being practiced by Nara Lokesh as well now and the same can be understood if we look at his social media activity. Incidentally, Lokesh has lent a helping hand to a medical victim upon the reference of a YCP activist who had the history of abusing Lokesh.
Going into the story, this female YCP activist who occasionally abused Lokesh on social media tagged him in a tweet last night and sought help with the medical assistance for a one-month old baby.
Tagging Lokesh in her tweet, she wrote “A one month old baby boy from Vizianagaram is battling, a severe condition causing breathing issues. His treatment costs ₹10,00,000, which his family cannot afford. Kindly help his father, T. Govindarao, save his child’s life.”
Lokesh showed his humanitarian side immediately as he briskly responded to the tweet and assured all possible support to the family of the child victim who is facing a complex medical condition.
Regardless of the fact that the lady had abused Lokesh in the past, the TDP scion referred to her as garu in his reciprocal tweet and assured that the child will be given the best possible care.
At a time when vendetta politics and ego games are ruling the roost in Telugu political system, netizen opine it is good that Lokesh is putting humanity above all else and readily helping a child even at the reference of a hardcore anti-TDP activist. This is the kind of sensitive and thoughtful administration that is expected from the pro-public government.
