Sai Reddy Quits: What’s YCP’s First Reaction

The most unexpected thing has happened for YSR Congress in the form of the departure of senior leader and Rajya Sabha MP Vijay Sai Reddy. This has triggered a series of interesting reactions on social media.

Coming to the reactions that were put in motion by YSR Congress leaders shortly after Vijay Sai Reddy announce retirement, they had a peculiar stand.

Nellore YCP leader Kakani Govardhan ready, said Vijay Sai Reddy is always an integral leader of the party, and it will continue that way, no matter what. “Sai Reddy Garu was with Jagan through thick and thin. We are unable to understand his retirement at this point, but sadly that is how it is. However, we are confident that Sai Reddy will continue to give inputs and shape up our future course of plan. He will always remain close to Jagan.”

Strangely enough, Kakani implied that Vijay Sai Reddy’s retirement will not take him away from Jagan, and he will continue to play a role in the internal affairs.

On the other hand, Pilli Subash Chandra Bose who was with Jagan right from the start, along with Vijaya Sai Reddy opined that the latter’s announcement is hard to comprehend. “ Maybe Sai Reddy had to resign due to external pressures. People who run businesses and stay active in politics are always bound to take pressure. But I am confident that Vijay Sai Reddy will remind to be a key part of YCP think tank.”

The early reaction from certain YCP leaders is that they are shocked by the departure of Vijay Sai, which could be an indication that this was a knee jerk reaction and not many people had an idea of it.
