Idea Is Good – Can Lokesh Bring The Change?

It is well known that AP CM Chandrababu Naidu recently made some key remarks on dynastic politics. He commented that only those who seize opportunities excel in any field, whether in business, cinema, politics, or family. He further stated that dynastic succession is a myth, which quickly went viral. Naidu also said that Lokesh entered politics not for business but for public service. In this context, Lokesh has now made significant remarks about positions and terms in office.

Lokesh, the National General Secretary of TDP, stated that he has served three terms in the party’s top position and that he believes a person should not hold any position for more than three terms. “This is my personal opinion that no one should hold the same position for more than three terms. We are discussing this in the new committee and the political bureau,” he said. Lokesh also emphasized that the party should provide opportunities to others, stating that grassroots workers should have the chance to rise to the level of Polit Bureau members. However, he mentioned that senior leaders in the party will discuss and make the final decision on this proposal. Political experts felt that the Lokesh’s proposal is extremely good for TDP in long term, but the implementation in the real-time is not an easy task.

Talking about the challenges of being a minister, Lokesh shared that it is difficult to conduct regular padyatras, but he mentioned that he regularly organizes ‘Praja Darbar’ to address public grievances. He assured that, along with development, his focus has been on welfare issues as well. “I will work tirelessly to fulfill the responsibilities assigned by Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu,” he said, adding that as a committed worker, he will ensure the party’s reputation remains intact.
