YCP Still Struggling with ‘Button Nokkudu’ Phobia?

The Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh, Chandrababu Naidu, clearly explained the fiscal mismanagement by Jagan during his earlier tenure and its aftereffects, which are still haunting the state. Due to the extreme debt situation created by the previous government, Andhra Pradesh is now in no position to secure any additional borrowing or debts.

In response to the sensible and informative statement issued by Chandrababu, the YCP cadres are now on the defensive.

YCP spokesperson Pothina Mahesh, who was with Janasena until the last election but left after failing to secure an MLA ticket, has provided an interesting take on the situation.

Mahesh pointed out that Chandrababu is once again tricking the people by going back on his Super Six promises. “Before the election, Chandrababu said he would generate revenue and implement the Super Six promises. But after gaining power, he has become a completely different person. He has openly stated that he is no longer interested in implementing the Super Six. He must be held accountable for this. Even Pawan Kalyan said it was his responsibility to ensure Chandrababu implements the Super Six. So now that these promises are not fulfilled, both of them are to be blamed.”

Mahesh further stated that Jaganmohan Reddy pressed the button 135 times during his tenure as CM and deposited money directly into the accounts of common people. “Now, both Chandrababu and Pawan Kalyan must learn to press the button,” he said. His exact words in Telugu were, “Chandrababu, Pawan Kalyan garu kuda button nokkadam nerchukovali.” Looks like, YCP leaders still not out of ‘Button Nokkudu’ phobia.

On one hand, the NITI Aayog Committee has openly reported that the gross fiscal mismanagement in Andhra Pradesh is having serious repercussions, while on the other hand, people like Pothina Mahesh are suggesting that even Babu and Pawan should press the button like Jagan.
