Former chief Minister YS Jagan has mostly been staying at his lavish house in Bengaluru since the 2024 election. He has been coming to Andhra Pradesh only once a week for 2 to 3 days and then going back to Bengaluru.
A similar pattern is observed again now as Jagan arrived in Andhra Pradesh, three days back and met a few of his party leaders and supporters. There was an elaborate press meet in the middle of it as well, where Jagan promised to enforce Jagan 2.0 next term.
More relevantly, his party candidate from Gannavaram, Vallabhaneni Vamsi was arrested by Andhra Pradesh Police, and this is a focal point of many discussions in Andhra Pradesh.
Adding to that, there is the increased demand from cadres to Jagan regarding the state-wide tour. He himself announced he would be touring AP and meeting his party’s struggling cadres after Sankranthi season. But when he was about the same in a recent interaction, he wrote it off saying there’s a lot of time left and there’s no rush.
In the midst of this discussion, Jagan is leaving to Bengaluru again today and related arrangements are being made. Apparently, he will attend YCP MLA Ramachandra Reddy’s son’s marriage and then leave to Bengaluru from there
As it appears, Jagan is enforcing a take it easy attitude and not too bothered about the latest political developments as he is leisurely travelling to Bengaluru even in complex conditions.
