Vamsi Arrest – No Sympathy At All

Vallabhaneni Vamsi’s arrest has invoked no major reactions politically. Even within YSRCP, the reaction is very mild. Many opine that Vamsi’s over-action, loud-mouthed nature are the key reasons. In fact, many in YSRCP are feeling good about Vamsi’s arrest. So are TDP leaders.

Vamsi, who had won on TDP ticket in 2019, turned a turncoat. He backstabbed his own party by shifting his loyalties to YSRCP. That’s not all. Vamsi resorted to cheap politics by unleashing a vulgar attack against TDP’s top leaders. All these have backfired him.

Strangely, YSRCP leaders are also against Vamsi and co for such behaviour. Many feel that the leaders like Vamsi had done more damage to the party and played a main role in the defeat of YSRCP.

Vamsi’s coterie is trying to make fuss about his arrest and create buzz, but no one in Gannavaram is actually caring anything about his arrest. The ground reality is totally different.

There are no takers for Vamsi’s arrest. Vamsi’s wife Pankaja Sri came into the picture. Still there is no sympathy at all for Vamsi’s arrest.

While Vamsi’s team claim it as a political vengeance and revenge politics, neither YSRCP nor Vamsi’s old friends in TDP are having any concern. Vamsi is paying the price for his political blunders he had committed, a senior leader quoted anonymously.

The 144 section drama turned out to be a damp squib, leaving Vamsi’s cadre dull, exhausted. With YSRCP leaders largely turning silent, none other than YS Jagan is stepping into the scene to create some hullabaloo.

Of course, for Jagan it is a political necessity to stand by his leaders to keep his flock together. But the moot question remains whether there will be any takers for all this drama or not.

So far, all the moves to create sympathy around Vamsi’s arrest failed. With Jagan’s entry, it needs to be seen how things will unfold.
