Raviprakash popularly known as TV9 Raviprakash tweeted a few hours ago that he indeed filed a petition before the Delhi High Court seeking compensation for the usage of the TV9 logo.
Raviprakash has been in a legal war with ABCPL regarding the logo’s ownership. Earlier, TV9 Network clarified that there is ‘misinformation being carried on Delhi Hgh Court order regarding the ‘TV9′ ownership and copyright’.
The statement from TV9 reads, ‘The news being circulated in the electronic, print and social media regarding the Hon’ble Delhi High Court has passed an order directing ABCPL to pay Rs. 168 crores to Mr. Ravi Prakash within 4 weeks in false and incorrect.’
Clarifying on the same, Ravi Prakash tweeted today, ‘Yes, it’s true..I have filed a petition before the Hon’ble Delhi High Court seeking ₹168 Cr for the usage of the TV9 Logo and revocation of its assignment. The Court is pleased to issue notice directed to ABCPL (@TV9Telugu @TV9Bharatvarsh @TV9Marathi @tv9gujarati @tv9kannada) to file their counter.’
Ravi Prakash further wrote, ‘Let’s stick to facts, no fiction, no room for paid narratives or convenient distortions. The case is in motion.’
In the same tweet, Ravi Prakash mentions himself as ‘TV9 Founder & Partner (as of today)’ while he also sarcastically writes ‘Ex-TV9 CEO’ and ‘until I was ‘written off’ for convenience’.
Ravi Prakash tagged Telangana CM Revanth Reddy, Chandrababu Babu Naidu, PM Modi, Mamata Banerjee, Siddaramaiah, and Devendra Fadnavis in the tweet.
