Thanks to HM Anitha, Naidu Triples Stipend for Constable Trainees

The NDA government in Andhra Pradesh is not just creating new employment opportunities but also making strenuous efforts to fill the vacant posts in various departments as part of its ambitious goal to offer 20 lakh jobs in these five years. Close on heels after filling up 15,000 DSC posts in a single attempt, the government has now completed the recruitment process to fill 5,757 Police constables after clearing all legal hurdles.

Not stopping with the recruitment, the government is also making sure that appointment letters are handed over to the aspirants in quick time to ensure timely joining in the new posts. On Tuesday, CM Naidu and Deputy CM Kalyan along with Home Minister Anitha distributed the offer letters to all the selected candidates in Mangalagiri in a grand manner. Not only the selected candidates but also their family members have been invited to the event, reflecting the government’s inclusive approach.

After distributing the appointment letters and completing their speeches, Pawan Kalyan and Chandrababu Naidu were about to leave the venue. Then, an interesting development took place. Home Minister Anitha noticed that the constable trainees were demanding a hike in the stipend. She immediately brought the matter to Naidu’s attention, and after a brief discussion with Pawan, Chandrababu Naidu announced a stipend hike from ₹4,500 to ₹12,000 on the spot.

Home Minister Anitha’s timely move played a crucial role. She promptly noticed the demand raised by the aspirants and conveyed it to Chandrababu Naidu without delay. Known for responding positively to genuine concerns, Naidu acted immediately, turning the moment into a memorable one for the candidates.

Chandrababu also emphasised that the recruitment process was completed in record time with digital tools and without any corruption despite 31 writ petitions were filed to hamper it. He appreciated anitha for handling the department efficiently and warned that crimes against women, cybercrime and drug trafficking would be dealt with a iron fist.
