Kakinada Port Case: Sai Reddy Opens His Mouth, What Next?

As we had reported yesterday, the Andhra Pradesh CID had notified Vijay Sai Reddy to appear in front of them for investigation in the Kakinada port shares hijack case. Sai Reddy appeared for investigation at the CID office today, and he briefed the media on this matter shortly after.

While Sai Reddy categorically safeguard Jagan in this case, he then exposed YV Vikranth Reddy who is the son of Jagan’s close relative and trusted associate Subba Reddy.

“ The CID officials asked me if YS Jagan had anything to do with this Kakinada Port case. I made it clear to them that Jagan did not have any say in this matter, and it was YV Vikrant Reddy, who is the principal curator of this matter. He was the one who mediated between KV Rao and Aurobindo’s Sharath Chandra Reddy.” Sai Reddy revealed.

While Sai Reddy might have succeeded in momentarily safeguarding Jagan on this matter, the fact that he named Vikrant Reddy itself shows that certain degree of fraud happened in this case. This is a significant lead for the CID to build on while they investigate the matter and bring out many other names that could be associated with this case.

It appears that the YSR Congress top leadership is now in deep trouble after Sai Reddy has opened his mouth and given certain names to CID for investigation.
