Just a couple of weeks ago, Telangana Congress veteran V Hanumantha Rao met with Andhra Pradesh, chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu. And now, it is the turn of another Telangana veteran Nagam Janardhan Reddy to meet the Andhra Pradesh chief minister.
Janardhan Reddy, who was with Telugu Desam party right from the start of his political career in 1995 was suspended in 2011 for anti-party activities. He is currently with the BRS outfit, but he is not fully active in politics, nevertheless, considering his age factor.
Incidentally, this Telangana political veteran met with chief minister Chandrababu at his chamber in the Andhra Pradesh assembly today. This is the first re union between these two Telugu political veterans after many years, and they reportedly had a pleasant conversation.
Notably Telugu Desam party is scripting a comeback in Telangana politics, and in this context, several Telangana veterans have started to meet chief Minister Chandrababu. Is this an indirect indication about the resurrection of the party in Telangana? Only time will answer this question.
