Death Threat To Viveka Case Approver Dastagiri?

The mysterious and suspicious deaths of the people associated with the highly controversial YS Vivekananda Reddy murder case is one of the most debated topics in AP politics these days. YS Sunitha has also commented that she is worried about these deaths and called for protection for witnesses and also the accused.

In this context, something extremely detrimental has happened today as the family of the main approver in the Viveka murder case, Dastagiri was allegedly manhandled.

Allegedly, Dastagiri’s wife Shabana was attacked in Kadapa today as a few women mobbed her house and beat her up while making abusive slurs. According to her comment, they even threatened to kill Dastagiri by the end of this year.

Dastagiri is one of the last standing men in this case and he is very critical for the legal proceedings and investigation. If he indeed gets eliminated, then the investigation process could be largely compromised.

Fearing something of this sort, Kadapa police had issued 2+2 police security to Dastagiri. But that didn’t stop miscreants from allegedly attacking his family and even threatening to kill him by the end of this year. It has to be seen how the local police will deal with this situation now.
