KCR Is Telangana Jaathi Pitha? What Revanth Reddy Said?

Speaking with the media yesterday, BRS firebrand leader, Harish Rao said KCR is a proper statesman. “While KCR fought for Telangana and became the Jaathi Pitha of the state, this chief minister Revanth Reddy has become Boothu Pitha with all the foul language that he uses.”

This comment appears to have triggered the chief minister and he had a pretty strong reaction to the same today.

“Only people like Mahatma Gandhi can be referred to as Jaathi Pitha. He was a wise man who couldn’t bear the very smell of alcohol. But when it comes to KCR, he can’t get down from the bed or live for a day without liquor. Then how can he be the Jaathi Pitha?” Revanth Reddy questioned.  

Revanth further added that Gandhi lived in a normal Ashram without any luxuries, but on the other hand, KCR lives in lavish farm houses with hundreds of acres. He pointed out this story to discredit Harish Rao’s proclaimed reference to KCR as the Jaathi Pitha of Telangana. 

For our Telangana, people Konda Lakshman Bapuji, and Prof Jayashankar are the real pioneers and not some drunkards like KCR, Revanth said on a harsh note.
