It is known that Andhra Pradesh, chief minister, Chandrababu Naidu and global entrepreneur and Microsoft founder, Bill Gates, share a great work professional rapport. The two of them had earlier come together to instigate the IT boom in Hyderabad in 1995 and now, they’re coming together for Amaravati and divided Andhra Pradesh.
Babu met Bill Gates in Delhi yesterday and discussed several investment opportunities in Andhra Pradesh, to which the latter appeared to be incomplete approval.
On this matter, Bill Gates tweeted today “It was great to meet with Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh @ncbn to sign a MoU between @BMGFIndia and the GoAP.
I’m looking forward to what’s next as @BMGFIndia continues to support the state’s bold vision of innovation-led growth in health, agriculture, and education”.
Earlier Babu had tweeted “We explored the use of advanced technologies like Artificial Intelligence and predictive analytics to improve service delivery in key areas such as healthcare, education, agriculture, and employment generation.”
The same was reinstated by Bill Gates, while he briefly opened up about the nature of the MoUs that were signed with the government of Andhra Pradesh.
The GoAP is fully committed to realizing the vision of Swarna Andhra Pradesh 2047, and we believe this partnership with the Gates Foundation will play a crucial role in empowering our people and achieving this goal. I sincerely thank Mr Bill Gates for his time, insights, and support for the progress of Andhra Pradesh, Babu had stated yesterday.
