There is a popular saying in the Telugu states, which goes like the Telugu Desam party always goes all out for its cadres. This is one of the main reasons why the party is still relevant to this day despite being launched in the political scene, some four decades ago. The unrelenting support of the cadres is the reason behind this continued sustenance.
Coming to the topic now, there is this one TDP MLA Yarapathaneni Srinivasa Rao, who has the image of being a strong sympathiser of the cadres. He has showcased his generosity again now.
According to a newspaper clipping, a TDP supporter named Shaikh Subani who has been a very vocal supporter of the party over the years had sadly passed away a couple of months back. As a token of solidarity, Srinivasa Rao’s son Nikhil personally met with the family and expressed condolences.
Reportedly, it was then identified that the family was struggling and their house was also in mortgage. The MLA was apparently moved by this and he then did something humanitarian.
The MLA reportedly paid Rs 3 lakh to waive off the mortgage that was troubling the family. This generous gesture is being greatly welcome by the supporters of the party and local cadres. Such is the kind of generous acts that bring MLAs closer to their cadres and keeps things going.
