In what could be considered a positive upswing in the tax compliance regime of Andhra Pradesh, the state has recorded its highest GST collection in the last 11 months. The GST collection in Andhra Pradesh for the month of March touched 3000 crore mark.
With 8.35 percentage year on year growth recorded in March, the GST complaints revenue generated is ₹3116 crore. This is the highest GST collection in the state in the last 11 months. And also it is the first time that the GST collection(monthly) has touched the 3000 crore mark.
The increase in state GST collections is a direct fiscal proof that all the steps taken by the government for the economic progress of the state are succeeding. GST collections for the month of March 2025 for AP have been recorded to exceed the collections of the previous 11 months.
Positive investment friendly atmosphere that has been created in Andhra Pradesh paired with increased tax compliance when it comes to petroleum products and liquor have contributed to this substantial tally.
