Dad & Son Invites AI Chief Sam Altman To AP

In the current day global market, artificial intelligence has become a leading tool for several industries and it is projected to change the phase of earth in the days to follow. Grasping the significance of AI, the government of Andhra Pradesh is making proactive move in order to make the state a global hub for AI development.

Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu had discussed the establishment of Microsoft’s AI development center in AP with Bill Gates himself recently. Now, Babu and Nara Lokesh have taken another step forward and invited the founding father of AI revolution Sam Altman to enhance the AI infrastructure in Andhra Pradesh.

Earlier in the day today, Sam Altman, the former chief executive officer of OpenAI, and is a principal founder of the modern day evolutionary Artificial Intelligence, shared an interesting tweet.

“what’s happening with ai adoption in india right now is amazing to watch. we love to see the explosion of creativity–india is outpacing the world.” He noted. The implication here was that Sam is thoroughly impressed with the AI boom in India.

This was when the IT minister of Andhra Pradesh, Nara Lokesh came in and extended invitation to Sam Altman who is regarded as father of the AU revolution globally.

“I cordially invite you to explore Andhra Pradesh, India’s emerging AI Tech Hub. We’re eager to learn, adapt, and enhance our ecosystem to foster the growth of AI in our state so we could create more jobs for the youth in our State.Looking forward!” Lokesh wrote in response to Sam’s original tweet.

On the other hand, CM Chandrababu had also remarked “Absolutely! India is just beginning its journey, and Andhra Pradesh is poised to become a hub for AI-driven advancements. It would be a pleasure to welcome you to Amaravati on your next trip to India and share our vision with you as we shape the future. P.S. It’s not just AI; Andhra Pradesh is also ready to lead in quantum technology.”

A few netizens are funnily commenting that the previous YCP government didn’t even have a proper idea of what AI means, but Lokesh and Babu miles ahead. This is the kind of proactive approach that was missing in recent years in AP.
