One of the key narratives championed by JanaSena president and Deputy Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh, Pawan Kalyan, is the safeguarding of Sanatan Dharma and Hindu traditions. In this context, he recently undertook a spiritual tour to Tamil Nadu and Kerala, where he visited several ancient temples.
During one of his visits to Tamil Nadu, the Deputy CM learned from a media individual that the popular bus service between Tirupati and Palani, a temple town in Tamil Nadu, had been paused following the COVID-19 pandemic. Kalyan was requested to restart this service to encourage pilgrimage.
This interaction took place on January 14 of this year, and Kalyan promised to speak with the RTC chairman to restart the service as soon as possible.
Interestingly, this bus service between Tirupati and Palani was restarted yesterday and was flagged off by none other than Pawan Kalyan himself. This new RTC service will now operate between the temple towns of Tirupati and Palani, thanks to Kalyan’s persistence.
It is clear that Kalyan is putting his words into action regarding the Sanatan Dharma narrative he has been advocating.
