YS Jagan At Raptadu: Peak AP Politics!

Former chief minister of Andhra Pradesh, YS Jagan has been rarely stepping out in the public these days. He is confining his public visits almost entirely to party related activities rather than public protests. 

In this context, Jagan is arriving in Raptadu in Anantapur district today. He is scheduled to meet the family members of a person who was allegedly killed recently over political feuds. 

While YSR Congress has been trying to market, this incident as a political murder and blaming Telugu Desam, Jagan is looking to make it Official by going down there and meeting the family members. However, this is not going to be a customary meeting of any sort. 

Jagan is scheduled to arrive in Raptadu in a helicopter today, and YCP is making massive arrangements for the same. Former MLA Thopudurthi Prakash Reddy is overseeing these activities now. 

However, on the contrary, local MLA Paritala Sunitha has delivered a mass centric speech. “YCP leaders are trying to make a meal out of the situation. They are saying we can stop Jagan if we have the guts and courage. Yes, we do. Have the guts and courage to stop Jagan. If need be, we can stop Jagan from even setting foot in Raptadu. We can even stop him from stepping out of his helicopter. But this is not the kind of politics that Chandrababu Garu tough us.”

All in all, this Raptadu visit of Jagan has become a new discourse in Andhra Pradesh politics. While YSR Congress is looking to make a meal out of the alleged murder by blaming Telugu Desam, the ruling faction is warning Jagan not to make too much out of the situation. 

With so much happening around this political visit, Andhra Pradesh politics are witnessing the very peak high drama and political warfare.
