Modi Returning For Amaravati 2.0: 5 Lakh Crowd, 4 Helipads!

The last time Prime Minister Modi took part in the capital inauguration event pertaining to Amaravati, things did not go very smooth. There were complaints about the lack of adequate support from the centre for the development of the Amaravati capital Project.

Coincidentally roughly 10 years later, the very same Prime Minister Modi is going to be back for the Amaravati 2.0 project. He is scheduled to arrive in Andhra Pradesh and take part in the Amravati 2.0 inauguration ceremony on May 2.

The India government in Andhra Pradesh is making grand arrangements for this mega event that has a lot of cultural and social economical significance.

Reportedly the government is planning to assemble a huge crowd of over 5 lakh people at the meeting venue. Prime Minister Modi and the state-level bigwigs Chandrababu Naidu and Pawan Kalyan are going to be a part of this mega event.

As many as four helipads are being assembled for the meeting, and this gives an idea of what is to come. Apart from the customer presence of Prime Minister Modi, there might be other special interests as well.

Considering the fact that chief minister Chandrababu is so very determined to Kam complete the Amravati capital project in the next three years, this relaunch activity is going to be crucial. The World Bank and HUDCO have already made significant contributions to the capital project. Chandrababu could even bring the 16th finance commission on the same page and is likely to secure allocations for Amaravati.

But the natural expectation, this time is that the relaunch program will instigate a new fire in this project with the government determined to make it the capital hub of the state. Several investment agreements were made already, and they could subsequently pick up the momentum once the relaunch program is done.
