An Indian Army Jawan from Andhra Pradesh was martyred during an exchange of fire between India and Pakistan along the Line of Control (LoC) in Jammu and Kashmir.

According to the details, Indian Army soldier Murali Nayak lost his life while fighting for his country on the frontlines. He hailed from Kallithanda village under the Gaddamthanda panchayat in the Sri Sathya Sai district of Andhra Pradesh. The incident reportedly occurred either yesterday or the day before. Murali Nayak’s mortal remains are expected to reach his native village by tomorrow.

Murali Nayak studied in Somandepalli and was one of the young men from his region who chose to serve in the Indian Armed Forces. The village sarpanch mentioned that a few other youngsters from their area are also serving in the Indian Army. Meanwhile, the entire nation salutes Murali Nayak’s bravery and mourns his loss.

Tensions between India and Pakistan have escalated in recent days, especially after the Pahalgam terrorist attack. The Indian Armed Forces successfully repelled Pakistan’s drones and munitions along the western border yesterday.
