Senior YSRCP leader and former Gudivada MLA Kodali Nani is currently resting at his home in Hyderabad. He recently returned from Mumbai after receiving treatment for heart-related health issues. According to sources, he is now considering going to the United States for more advanced medical care.
Since returning from Mumbai, Nani has been keeping a low profile. He is not meeting anyone except for a few close associates. Ever since the YSRCP lost power, Nani has stayed away from Gudivada and hasn’t been in touch with his local followers. Some say he is worried about potential legal cases being filed against him, and this stress may have added to his health problems.
During the YSRCP’s time in power, Nani served as a minister for the first two and a half years. He was known for his aggressive comments against the TDP, especially targeting current Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu and Minister Nara Lokesh. His language often drew criticism, even including abusive remarks at times.
Now, the current TDP government has accused Nani of being involved in several corruption activities during his time as minister in Gudivada. Vigilance officials are reportedly investigating these allegations.
There is speculation that Nani wants to leave for the US before any official cases are filed. However, sources say the new government is closely monitoring his movements and may not allow him to leave the country so easily. As discussions continue, it remains to be seen whether Nani’s health-related travel plans will work out or not.
