Andhra Pradesh chief minister, Chandrababu Naidu looks extremely committed towards the development of the capital project of Amaravati. He is holding frequent consultations with the central government for the sustained development of this capital project.
In this context, union minister Pemmasani Chandrasekhar who is also a TDP MP from Guntur had a very interesting story to share at the Mahanadu event today and this involves Chandrababu and his commitment towards Amaravati.
“There was this discussion about a roadway project for Amaravati and Union Minister, Nitin Gadkari proposed to have a 160 feet Road for the project. But Chandrababu Garu immediately objected the same and said he wanted a 230 feet Road at any cost.
Nitin Gadkari was sceptical about it and asked the need for such a wide road for such small population. But Babu Garu was persistent. He said he might not be around during the full scale development of Amaravati. But in 25 years, AP will be buzzing with investment and money, and that day, these roadways will play a crucial role in the urban development.” Pemmasani said as he was the firsthand witness of this conversation.
The TDP MP added that Chandrababu is so very progressive about Amaravati that he is fighting with Delhi bosses to secure the very best for the capital. The fact that he is already fighting for a 230 feet Road for the capital shows the kind of forward thinking that he has for this project.
