Former Irrigation minister of Andhra Pradesh, Ambati Rambabu is regarded as one of the entertaining personalities in Telugu politics. He is known for making sarcastic comments on contemporary matters and more often than not, finds himself on the wrong side of the rubber.
Incidentally, Ambati tried to do something of this sort by trying to irk Deputy chief minister Pawan Kalyan by commenting on his filmography.
“Where is DCM Pawan Kalyan? I don’t think he is in Andhra Pradesh. He is busy shooting for his upcoming films, Ustad Bhagat Singh, Hari Hara Veera Mallu and OG. You can find him in the shooting spots of these films, but not in Andhra Pradesh. Everyone who voted for him are banging their heads now.” Ambati said.
Ambati clearly tried to take a dig at the deputy chief minister with this sarcastic comment, but he was met with as much fire by Janasena supporters on social media.
Many Janasena supporters are pointing to the time when Ambati himself forgot that he was the minister back in Jagan’s tenure and dances on the roads during festivals while crucial irrigation projects were going to shed under Jagan’s rule. They are questioning the integrity of Ambati, who now has the audacity to comment on Kalyan.
Another social media user pointed out that YCP leaders still appear to be in the delusion about their position in AP politics. “While the public clearly rejected YCP and confined them to 11 seats, here they are trying to comment on Kalyan who is trying to make a rightful buck legally by continuing his profession. Such delusion will bring down YCP to single seat next time.”
