Sakshi’s Kommineni Arrested by AP Police!

Sakshi Media televised an atrocious program recently where they spit venom and hate against Amaravati capital project. At one point in the prime time show that was televised a few days back, it was said by a so called journalist that Amaravati is filled with female sex workers.

This comment and atrocious hate against Amaravati and the general tendency to speak so lowly about women caught the public ire right away and it led to several debates.

Incidentally, the government of Andhra Pradesh has now in instigated the police department to arrest senior journalist Kommineni Srinivasa Rao who happens to represent Sakshi and was coincidentally the one who was mediating this show while that atrocious statement was made.

Kommineni Srinivasa Rao was arrested from his house in Hyderabad by Andhra Pradesh police today. He was arrested for the comments made by his guest analyst Krishnam Raju on his recent show in Sakshi TV about women from Amaravathi.  Multiple sections were slapped on Kommineni in this case.

While Kommineni wasn’t necessarily the one who made this comment, his presence and also the tenacity of the program have reportedly substantiated the arrest today.
