Telangana ACB is actively pursuing the Formula E case against former IT minister KTR. Incidentally, the incumbent BRS working president had already appeared before ACB officials a couple of times with regard to the investigation in this case.
However, no consolidated action has been taken against KTR till now. He was set free after the second round of investigation last evening as well.
Incidentally, the ACB reportedly intimated KTR to submit his current mobile phone and also the previous mobile phones that were incorporation during the Formula E project. They reportedly made it clear that these mobile phones and the data will play a crucial role in the investigation in the case.
However, KTR reportedly consulted with his legal team and decided not to submit his mobile phones to the investigating authorities.
Reportedly KTR communicated back to the ACB, saying he is not going to submit his mobile phones or any electronic devices as this is against the precedent set by the Supreme Court itself.
While the ACB is insisting on getting ahold of the mobile phones and related data from KTR, it appears that the former IT Minister is in no mood to submit the same to the investigative authorities.
