Bail Denied by SC, SIT Moves to Arrest Mithun Reddy

In a major setback for YSRCP MP Mithun Reddy, the Supreme Court has rejected his request for anticipatory bail in the Andhra Pradesh liquor scam case. The court not only refused to grant bail but also showed no interest in giving him time to surrender.

Mithun Reddy, who is facing serious allegations in the liquor scam that took place during the previous YSRCP government, had approached the Supreme Court seeking protection from arrest. However, the top court dismissed his petition, making it clear that there would be no relief for him.

Following the Supreme Court’s decision, the Special Investigation Team (SIT) has intensified its action. The SIT has now filed a fresh petition in the Vijayawada court seeking an arrest warrant against Mithun Reddy. They are moving forward with legal procedures to arrest him as per the law.

This development has increased pressure on Mithun Reddy, and his arrest now seems likely very soon. The liquor scam has already led to multiple legal troubles for many leaders, and this move by the Supreme Court has further added to the heat on the YSRCP camp.
