CM Chandrababu Naidu created a buzz during his visit to the Handri Neeva project in Kuppam the other day. While inspecting the massive irrigation project, the chief minister surprised everyone by insisting on taking a boat ride across the water body.
According to sources, his security team strongly objected to the idea, stating that the boats had not undergone proper safety checks and it would be risky for him to travel without clearance. Despite these warnings, Chandrababu stood firm on his decision. He reportedly told his team that the best way to understand the project is by experiencing it closely on the water.
With his clear instructions, arrangements were quickly made, and Chandrababu set out on the boat ride to inspect the water spread area of the project. The move instantly drew the attention of the large crowd that had gathered, and many cheered as they watched their leader step into the boat.
The bold decision to go ahead with the boat ride showed his deep personal interest in the Handri Neeva project, which holds great importance for his home constituency, Kuppam.
