GST 2.0 Is a Double Bonanza for the Middle Class: PM Modi

Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi addressed to the nation today on a wide range of topics, including the new GST reforms that are going to come to effect from this midnight.

Modi assertively stated that the new GST reforms are primarily aimed at enhancing the economy and empowering the middle class and neo middle class.

Modi labelled these new reforms as a “double bonanza” for the middle clan community in the country. He cited the reason that buying home appliances like refrigerators, TVs, and others at comparatively lower GST rates as the deciding factor here.

Amid complaints about the unconventionally high GST rates on appliances in the recent past, the new reform is a major supportive factor that could change the tide.

Modi stated that the Navratri celebrations that will be beginning from tonight will coincide with the new reforms and help bring a festive spirit across the country.
