Deputy CM and Janasena chief Pawan Kalyan seems to be displeased with a few of his own party MLAs. During a review meeting with Janasena MLAs and MLCs held in Mangalagiri on Saturday evening, Pawan reportedly expressed his dissatisfaction over their attitude and performance.
After attending a government event earlier in the day, Pawan reached the party office in Mangalagiri and interacted with the public representatives. They were already informed two days in advance to attend the meeting along with details of the issues in their constituencies. However, while some MLAs attended as instructed, a few skipped the meeting with prior permission, and two of them did not even inform the party before staying absent.
Pawan was said to have taken this seriously. During the meeting, he openly questioned the lack of responsibility shown by a senior MLA from the Godavari region. He also pointed out that some leaders were not doing proper groundwork in their constituencies.
The Janasena chief also questioned why the party MLAs remained silent during recent assembly debates, especially on critical public issues like pollution. He reminded them that the government belongs to everyone and that all leaders should participate collectively in developmental programs, rather than distancing themselves.
Pawan expressed concern that the actions of a few leaders were putting the entire party in a difficult spot. He urged the MLAs and MLCs to strengthen coordination with local leaders and stay closer to the people. He further said that Janasena’s philosophy is to ensure happiness and unity among all members. “Those who got tickets are not the only capable ones. Everyone in the party deserves recognition. We must work together for the people and the organization,” he advised.
Pawan’s candid remarks indicate that he expects greater discipline, responsibility, and visibility from his representatives at the ground level.
