Home Minister’s Strong Reaction Shows The Stability of NDA

The strong coalition between Telugu Desam Party, Janasena and BJP is one of the major reasons why the state of Andhra Pradesh is making big strides on both developmental and welfare fronts in the last 16 months. This is why Deputy CM and Janasena supremo Pawan Kalyan has been frequently reiterating that all three parties should be in alliance for the next 15 years keeping aside minor differences for the betterment of the state and its people. 

While the supporters and leaders of all three parties have been moving ahead in great spirits despite some misunderstandings here and there, the YSR Congress party seems to be trying its best to create some friction among the alliance partners and create a chance for its political comeback at least in the next elections. Even some media houses affiliated to YSRCP are also part of this playbook. During media interactions with leaders of either parties, they try to come up with questions to test the harmony of NDA partners.

On Tuesday, a similar incident unfolded during the press meet of Home Minister Vangalapudi Anitha. After Anitha addressed the ongoing controversy regarding the murder of Lakshmi Naidu in Nellore district, one journalist asked about her reaction on Deputy CM Pawan Kalyan’s directions to DGP to submit a report over the conduct of Bhimavaram DSP. The journalist tried to evoke a controversial reply to his question about Pawan Kalyan’s involvement into the matters of Home Minister’s department. 

But, Anitha came up with a strong reply without any hesitation. She asserted that there is nothing wrong on the part of Pawan Kalyan as a Deputy CM of the state to seek a report from the DGP. She categorically denied the allegation made by the journalist that Pawan Kalyan has been poking into the matters of Home Ministry quite regularly. She reiterated that Pawan Kalyan is an integral part of the government and has every right to seek a report. 

Anitha clarified that the issue raised by Pawan Kalyan has already come to the notice of her department and the necessary report was said to be readied. She questioned the intention behind the journalist’s enthusiasm when there are no egos between both the Home Minister and Pawan Kalyan. Anitha’s firm reaction once again establishes the stability of NDA coalition in the state. 

Earlier in the day, there were reports that Pawan Kalyan has expressed displeasure over the conduct of Bhimavaram DSP Jayasurya following a series of complaints about his inaction against illegal gam*ling clubs in the district. Pawan has reportedly spoke to Bhimavaram SP and ordered to examine the complaints and submit a factual report on the outcome.
