Andhra Pradesh, deputy Chief Minister Pawan Kalyan has given a strong and vocal warning to red sandalwood smugglers in the state as he cracked down on the smuggling activities.
Kalyan, who visited the red sandalwood depot in Tirupati, and got to know about the smuggling operations that happen here got infuriated quickly and he came down heavily on sanders.
“Thaata teesesi nilabedatham” Pawan Kalyan said as he warned deadly consequences to these sandalwood smugglers.
“It is better if you stop these smuggling activities on your own. And if you don’t stop it voluntarily, then we will have to do it ourselves, and this will be very brutal. In a span of one year, we will establish special zones and teams to cut down smuggling. Once the operation starts, then all the sanders will be put to sword.” Kalyan said.
Kalyan even pointed out that there is an open regulation that the properties of red sandalwood smugglers can be seized and liquidated as he threatened that the government is ready to go to any extent to save sandalwood.
Kalyan had been very vocal about the sandalwood smuggling in the past as well, but he got really infuriated today as he threatened brutal consequences to those involved. With this warning coming from the deputy CM himself, it could clarity strike fear in the spikes of smugglers.
