What An Idea Sirji: Messi As Telangana Ambassador?

The government of Telangana led by chief minister Revanth Reddy is taking many progressive calls with regard to administration and also global marketing. 

Now we could be witnessing one of the biggest marketing campaigns done by the Telangana government, and it involves the greatest footballer in the history of this sport, Lionel Messi.

Messi is going to arrive in Hyderabad in December as a part of his ongoing GOAT Global tour. This is a moment of pride and admiration for the sport lovers in the city as Messi commands insane following across the globe and more so even in India.

In this context, Revanth Reddy launched a new poster, featuring Messi and his upcoming Hyderabad tour. Also, it is being reported that the Telangana government is contemplating the idea of inviting Lionel Messi to operate as the global brand Ambassador for Telangana.

If Messi approves this proposal made by the Telangana government and turns global ambassador of the state, then there could be a lot of impetus here. Considering Messi’s global following, the reputation of Hyderabad could also take a massive upswing. 

Hyderabad already has the social infrastructure to be labelled as a global city and the marketing campaign surrounding Lionel Messi could only go on to help the cause. But the big question here is, whether Messi would actually be in approval of the same.
