In what could be considered a major lapse of public safety, a horrifying incident has happened in Delhi, which has put the city and also the state of Uttar Pradesh on high alert.
According to the latest reports, a massive car blast near the Red Fort area in Delhi resulted in a huge fire accident as multiple cars burned down, leading to severe human and property loss.
The latest updates of suggesting that as many as eight people have died in this incident by 24 others are in serious condition in the hospital.
It is being established that a massive explosion was witnessed at the gate number one near the Red Fort Metro station. Several vehicles that were parked nearby, including one suspect car caught on fire, which resulted in a lot of damage.
As a reciprocate measure, Uttar Pradesh DGP has issued instructions to all senior officials in Uttar Pradesh to increase security at sensitive religious sites, sensitive districts, and border areas. All security agencies have also been alerted. Police in all districts of Uttar Pradesh have been put on alert.
