Jubilee Hills By-Poll: Unprecedented Scenes!

It is already known that did Jubilee Hills as Assembly constituency is going to by election today due to the untimely passing of BRS sitting MLA Maganti Gopinath earlier. 

The polling process started earlier in the day today, and there have been no law and order disturbances till now. The poll is happening smoothly with elevated police security at all stations.

Interestingly, this Jubilee Hills election is witnessing something unprecedented as drone surveillance has been commissioned for the first time in India’s electoral history.

In a first-of-its-kind initiative in India, a total of 139 drones are monitoring 407 polling stations in the Jubilee Hills jurisdiction. The usage of drones is to eradicate any malpractices and law and order issues. 

With Jubilee Hills, being a hotspot junction, several celebrities, including Tollywood stars are coming out to cast their votes. So Hyderabad Police have made strict arrangements at the location to avoid any untoward incidents.

Back 2023, Jubilee Hills recorded just 47% voting, and it has to be seen if the crowd turned out will be any better this time. On the other hand, it must be noted that the counting will be held on November 14, and the results will be announced correspondingly.
