One of the detrimental consequences of the previous YCP government in Andhra Pradesh was its strong anti-investment policies. Instead of attracting new investments to the state, the previous government even scared away existing investors who had been brought in during the earlier TDP regime.
As a result, several leading companies, including global players, moved out of Andhra Pradesh and publicly stated they would not return.
However, things have started to change rapidly after the onset of the NDA government, with several global giants like Infosys, Google, and others setting up operations in the state once again. Now, there is a big announcement from IT Minister Nara Lokesh, who has hinted that a major company is returning to Andhra Pradesh.
In his latest message on social media, Lokesh revealed that a company which halted new projects in 2019 is making a strong comeback to AP tomorrow. He asked netizens to guess the name of the company, keeping everyone in suspense.
It should be noted that several leading companies, including Amara Raja, Franklin Templeton, LuLu Group, Jockey, and others, were driven away by the Jagan government. But thanks to the persistent efforts of the NDA government and Lokesh, many of these giants are now reconsidering their return to Andhra Pradesh.
For now, there is a lot of suspense surrounding which company Lokesh is referring to, but the big reveal is set to happen at 9 a.m. tomorrow, as confirmed by Lokesh himself.
