Over the years, the iconic Chinnaswamy stadium in Bengaluru, stood to be a place of celebration and rejoice for RCB fans. But virtually everything changed after the horrifying stampede that happened here in June when many lives were lost during the RCB victory parade.
Coming to the topic, now, the latest developments are suggesting that RCB fans could be in for another major shocker as the Chinnaswamy Stadium is not likely to host anymore games.
Reportedly the team management and the authorities have collectively decided that ChinnaSwamy Stadium is unfit to hold massive public events, including IPL games. The government is also very adamant about hosting games in this venue, which is in the heart of the city.
Reportedly RCB could be playing their home games at the MCA Stadium in Pune starting from 2026 IPL, and this is the news that is in circulation.
Reportedly the Pune Stadium has already been prepared for the 2026 season as RCB management have communicated the same. This is the report that is published by Times of India, and if that is the case, then Chinnaswami stadium could be missing out on all the IPL action henceforth.
