Andhra Pradesh chief minister Chandrababu Naidu and his son Nara Lokesh, who serves as the IT minister, are on a mission to strengthen the global reputation of the state. The recent Investor Summit in Vizag is a clear example of this effort.
As part of this initiative, Chandrababu sat down for an interview with global publication Bloomberg, followed by Lokesh’s interaction with another major international platform, Reuters.
During this interview, Lokesh spoke about the broader vision for the state. He discussed positioning Andhra Pradesh as both a cultural and technological hub of India. He sounded confident about transforming the state into the investment capital of the country under the leadership of his father, Chandrababu Naidu.
The Reuters report highlights how Lokesh, who is seen as a close apprentice of Prime Minister Modi and the son of a visionary chief minister, is playing a key role in driving the investment surge in Andhra Pradesh. They credited him for consistently engaging with global companies and bringing them to the state through dedication and strategic efforts.
Reacting to this, Lokesh posted:
“Happy to be featured by Reuters in their profile on Andhra Pradesh’s growth journey. Attracting 120 billion dollars in investments in just sixteen months is a testament to our unwavering focus on the speed of doing business, transparency, and a bold reform agenda that is positioning AP as a national model for governance and economic resurgence.”
