One of the appreciable developments brought up by the NDA government is respectful politics. Unlike the previous YCP government, where ministers used to sit in front of the media to abuse Chandrababu and Pawan Kalyan, the new government representatives have been very sensible.
In fact, Lokesh has set a new precedent with his latest gesture as he reprimanded TDP social media cadres when an AI generated video of Jagan went viral.
Going into the story, a viral video of Jagan that was generated through AI showed him pleasing with Chandrababu, Lokesh and Pawan Kalyan for opposition status was shared by a social media user. This video quickly grabbed the attention and started to go viral, and it reached Lokesh himself.
However, Lokesh was very dismissive of this video as he called for better approach on social media from everyone.
To my beloved TDP family – While I get the emotion behind such content, personal attacks are never desirable. We may be political opponents, but our public discourse must be grounded in dignity and respect. I request everyone, including our supporters, to avoid amplifying such content. Let us maintain civility even in disagreement, and focus on constructive politics that strengthens Andhra Pradesh, Lokesh wrote while contradicting the video.
While the previous government representatives took sadistic pleasure in abusing Babu and Lokesh by bringing their families, Lokesh has now condemned even an AI video of Jagan that looked in poor taste. The IT minister had called for more respectful politics and rightly so as well.
