Andhra Pradesh chief minister, Chandrababu Naidu has been repeatedly advocating the need for friendly governance and he is walking the talk now.
In this context, something unexpected happened at the secretariat yesterday while the chief minister expressed his disappointment with the protocol and security officers inside the premises.
Reportedly, Chandrababu got furious with authorities after finding too many barricades at the entry point near the Secretariat while entering the premises yesterday. He then expressed his discontentment to the police troops and security forces.
“What is the point of having so many barricades and restrictions at the entry point at the secretariat? It is crucial that we let people have a pleasurable experience when they come to the secretariat but that doesn’t look to be the case. This must be changed as early as possible.” Babu reportedly told the authorities.
The government has already emphasised or not having “Paradhas” at CM’s public visits as opposed to the preference of previous CM Jagan who always had this preventive measure all over his public appearance. But Babu is taking it up a notch further by calling for reduced hungama even at the secretariat which is accessed by hundreds of people each day.
