Andhra Pradesh IT Minister Nara Lokesh is on the hunt for multiple investment projects in the United States of America. In this context, he has secured a hallmark meeting with tech giant Google, CEO, Sundar Pichai.
Earlier in the morning, Lokesh met with the Google CEO for a brief interaction about the AI data Centre in Vizag and also the further investment opportunities in Andhra Pradesh.
Mainly, Lokesh thanked Google for their landmark $15B investment in the Visakhapatnam AI Data Center which is set to be one of the largest FDI projects outside the US.
We reviewed progress and discussed accelerating timelines. I also invited Google to explore a drone assembly, calibration & testing unit in our upcoming Drone City and to deepen the server manufacturing ecosystem in AP, Lokesh added.
The visuals of the candid conversation between Lokesh and Sundar Pichai are now going viral on social media as the two of them appear to have a fair deal of camaraderie emerging.
Other point that must be noted, here is that Lokesh has been able to secure meetings with top tech executives including AMD, Google, OpenAI and others. The kind of contacts and relations that he has in the tech sector is evidently vast and this can go on to help AP further.
