One of the infamous practices set in motion by the previous YSR Congress government in Andhra Pradesh was the unrelenting verbal abuse on Chandrababu, Lokesh and Pawan Kalyan. While cabinet ministers Kodali Nani, Roja and others were on the job around the clock, other faceless people like Borugadda Anil were also commissioned for the job.
At one point, this Borugadda Anil went to the degree that he threatened to kill Chandrababu and his family if Jagan commands.
However, things took a big turn after the 2024 election as YCP did not just face a horrifying defeat, but several of these YCP abusers turned inactive. Incidentally, this Anil, who had abused Chandrababu and his family was arrested by the police.
And now, after all the fiasco that had been happening, YCP has issued a communication dissociating from this Borugadda Anil.
An individual named Boragadda Anil Kumar has been appearing, being mentioned, and being portrayed as a person associated with the YSR Congress Party in some recent media interviews and on social media platforms. The YSR Congress Party condemns these. We are clarifying that the YSR Congress Party has no connection whatsoever with the individual named Boragadda Anil Kumar, the statement from the party read.
Anil was out in front of the media, abusing Chandrababu and his family, not a single YCP leader came out to condemn him. And now that things have taken a drastic turn, the party has dissociated with the serial verbal abuser.
