Visakhapatnam IT Dream Comes True Today!

Visakhapatnam has taken another major step toward becoming a strong IT destination. Cognizant has officially started its operations with a 1,000 seat facility at the Mahati Fintech building in Rushikonda IT Park Hill 2. IT industry experts say this launch will open a new phase for the city.

TDP leaders say this is the answer to those who questioned the impact of the Davos tour. Minister Nara Lokesh met the Cognizant CEO on January 23 in Davos. The company gave approval for investments in Visakhapatnam on June 25. Now, on December 12, the new campus has become operational. Leaders from the NDA say this shows the speed and efficiency of the current administration.

Lokesh inaugurated the campus and the event created excitement among job seekers. Officials said fast decisions and quick execution are the main reasons global companies are showing interest in Andhra Pradesh. This is only the first step. The foundation stone for the permanent campus is being laid today. With an investment of about 1500 crore rupees, the project is expected to create eight thousand direct jobs and several thousand indirect jobs.

Along with Cognizant, Sattva Group and seven other IT companies are also performing ground breaking ceremonies for their projects. If all these projects move forward as planned, Visakhapatnam is expected to emerge as a major IT hub in South India. An AI technology center called Sritek Tammin will also come up at Rushikonda Hill 2, offering jobs to 2,000 people. Sattva Developers will develop a large IT space, data center and Vantage Vizag campus at Hill 4. The Bengaluru based company is ready to launch its first IT project in the city at a fast pace.

In Kapuluppada, firms like Imaginnovative, Fluentgrid, Motherson Technologies and Quarks Technosoft are preparing to set up their development centers. These new entries show how quickly the IT environment in Visakhapatnam is strengthening. With software growth, new jobs for youth and increasing investments, the city is on track to become one of the fastest growing IT cities in India. Leaders say this is the true meaning of speed and the recent developments stand as clear proof.
