Won’t Contest 2029 Elections, Nagababu Confirms!

The brother of Andhra Pradesh deputy chief minister Pawan Kalyan, and incumbent MLC Naga Babu is a dynamic political personality. He had categorically confirmed multiple times in the past that he is not interested in active politics and only wants to help Kalyan build Janasena.

In this context, Naga Babu, who toured Andhra Pradesh today publicly stated that he is not going to contest in the 2029 elections as he has no interest in holding electoral positions.

“If I really want to become an MLA, I would have contested in the 2024 election itself. My only goal is to help build a strong foundation for Janasena and be of all possible support to Kalyan Babu.  Apart from that, I do not have any political ambitions.” Nagababu stated.

This is pretty much a confirmation of the fact that Naga Babu is not likely to contest in the upcoming election in Andhra, which is indeed a long way away.

It was earlier established that Naga Babu wanted to contest the Anakapalle segment in 2024, but the JanaSena party could not accommodate the same due to the alliance seat sharing equations. As a token of gratitude, the Chief Minister Babu then communicated that Naga Babu could be included in the legislative council which he is currently holding.

The alliance leadership has already made it clear that solid governance and alliance bonding is more important than individual choices and the same is reflecting in Naga Babu’s latest comments.
