One of the infamous expenditures of the previous CM of Andhra Pradesh, YS Jagan was the Vizag Rushikonda Palace that costed over ₹500 crores of public money. However, according to Jagan, the numbers behind the construction and also the purpose of the same are completely different.
In his latest interaction with the media today, Jagan stated that it costed ₹230 to 240 crore to build the Rushikonda palace.
Jagan said he finds absolutely nothing wrong with the construction of this lavish Palace in Vizag, and even termed this Rushikonda Palace as the “Animutyam” of Vizag. He pointed out that this Palace is now around jewel construction in Vizag.
“I spent ₹240 crore on a monumental construction that’s an Animutyam of Vizag. You can host the governor, Prime Minister, and even Russian president Putin here. It is an absolutely beautiful building. On the other hand, we have Chandrababu, who spent ₹330 crore on a single Yoga day.”
“I have the monument in Vizag to show for my ₹240 crore expenditure. What impetus does Chandrababu have to validate his ₹330 crore spending on the Yoga day? Did he spend so much money on Yoga mats.” Jagan stated.
