The NDA coalition led by Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu and Deputy Chief Minister Pawan Kalyan is sparing no effort to ensure utmost transparency in governance in every aspect without any leniency. Both the CM and Dy. CM have been frequently warning their MLAs and MPs to not involve in corrupt practices like land grabbing and sand mafia as such unethical acts would tarnish the image of the government and also result in huge backlash from common man.
Despite pulling up some public representatives several times for resorting to such immoral activities for commercial gains, there seems to be no change in the attitude of political leaders from a few particular districts where the government has announced a slew of industrial projects in recent times.
Janasena supremo Pawan Kalyan openly admitted this fact during the second day of the Collectors conference in Amaravati when Chandrababu was also present in the meeting. Pawan Kalyan brought to the notice of Chandrababu Naidu that even after repeated warnings some political leaders still continue to interfere in land settlements especially in Uttarandhra region where a bunch of industrial projects are set to take off very soon.
Pawan Kalyan stated it has come to his notice that political leadership in areas like Vizag, Vizianagaram and Srikakulam are getting into unwanted land disputes and settlements. He also expressed anguish that officials are unable to act firmly on these malpractices and requested Chandrababu Naidu to issue firm directives to end them.
Responding on Pawan Kalyan’s remarks, Chandrababu Naidu immediately alerted Collectors and Police officers and once again reiterated that those who are involving in land grabbing and settlements should not be spared and also gave full power to act ruthlessly against such complaints. Naidu even warned that government will look into all such issues and initiate stern action against the guilty without any tolerance.
Both Chandrababu Naidu and Pawan Kalyan have been repeatedly advising their party leaders not to involve in any anti-public activities from the very beginning after coming to power. But, still some leaders did not mend their ways and are using their position and power for commissions and other gains. Now, this is a strong message from both CM and Dy CM that no wrongdoer will be spared.
