The deputy chief minister of Andhra Pradesh, Pawan Kalyan arrived at the Pithapuram constituency earlier today to kickstart the Sankranti celebration. His arrival was marked with festival spirit as Janasena leaders accumulated in big numbers.
Kalyan took the occasion to grant multiple wishes to the people of Pithapuram, and also speak highly of this constituency that had nurtured his political career.
Kalyan announced that Pithapuram will be the permanent host for the annual Janasena event every year. He added that this constituency will host the Janani event on March 14, every year as the party would be celebrating its formation day along with the people of the constituency.
This was followed by a comment from the deputy CM as he looked to highlight the spirit of Sankranti. “Like how all religions celebrate Onam festival in Kerala, we must make sure Sankranti is celebrated by all religions. We must not confide Sankranti festival to cock fights and games. We must enhance the cultural spirit.”
The deputy chief minister further added that the incumbent NDA government is a very proactive administration under the leadership of CM Chandrababu.
Kalyan, then made a big announcement as he said he would be establishing a martial arts foundation very soon. He added that his foundation would be oversee the activities and complete the establishment of the martial arts training center.
