Tamil Nadu politics are spicing up as we have less than six months to go for the upcoming Assembly elections in the state. The entry of Tamil superstar Thalapathy Vijay into the political arena has added more fury to the political scene.
Incidentally, Vijay had to appear in front of the CBI in Delhi in connection with the ongoing Karur stampede investigation. In this context, something interesting has happened now as Tamil Nadu Congress suspects foul play in this series of events.
According to the latest developments, Tamil Nadu Congress Chief Selvaperunthagai suspects that the BJP government at the centre is looking to pressurise Vijay through this CBI investigation.
In his public communication, in the context of the CBI investigation of Vijay, the Tamil Nadu Congress president said the core principal behind this investigation is to pressurise Vijay into joining the NDA. He stated that the central government is using CBI as a pressure weapon to force Vijay into joining NDA.
While there is no obvious implications of political alliance between Vijay and NDA, the doors aren’t shut either.
And now, the Tamil Nadu Congress chief has openly stated that the BJP is looking to somehow grab the services of Vijay by using the CBI.
Meanwhile, the CBI investigation on Vijay is currently happening at the Delhi headquarters, and we have to see what would be the final verdict on the same.
