There is no change in the second day of AP Assembly winter sessions. Yet again the sessions started on a rocking note and TDP MLAs staged a protest over YCP government’s failure. As the sessions are not moving forward, AP Speaker Tammineni Sitharam has suspended TDP MLA Nimmala Ramanaidu for one day.
The TDP severely objected to this and demanded the Speaker to take back his decision. In this moment, TDP chief Chandrababu Naidu had a heated argument with the Speaker. During this Tammineni pointing at Chandrababu said, “Assembly is a mirror of a person. How an MLA is behaving in the Assembly is being watched by five crore people. Already people have watched what happened yesterday and so I request TDP leaders to please sit down as I did not give them a chance to talk.”
In reply Chandrababu seriously protested against the Speaker’s behaviour and added that the respect should be given and taken. This statement seems to have hurt Speaker Tammineni and he got angry at Chandrababu. “What are you talking about my behaviour? Take care. Are you trying to threaten me? I would bow down to your unruly behaviour in the house,” warned Tammineni.
With Tammineni’s comments, the TDP MLAs got out of their seats and joined Chandrababu in this verbal exchange. A few MLAs tried to throw papers at the Speaker’s podium but failed.
