Telangana chief minister Revanth Reddy has taken the latest edition of the Medaram Jatara very prestigiously and the preparations for the same have hit the roof.
Incidentally, several pieces of history are being created at this Jathara as Chief Minister Revanth Reddy is fully committed to holding it at an unprecedented level.
Firstly, the chief minister held a cabinet meeting at Medaram today, which happens to be the first Cabinet meeting in the history of Telangana, which is held outside of Hyderabad. This is a welcome raw and rustic touch to the generally non-complacent cabinet meetings.
On top of that with Telangana, government has completed the proceedings and arrangements for the upcoming Sammakka Saarakka jathara starting from January 28. Considering the fact that it is estimated that more than 2 crore people would be attending this festival, grand arrangements have been made for the same.
At the Medaram Police Command Control Centre, the Chief Minister reviewed the security arrangements and monitored the integration and functioning of CCTV surveillance systems and drone cameras.
Senior police officials briefed the Chief Minister on the use of AI-based technologies deployed to ensure crowd management, public safety, and smooth conduct of the Maha Jatara.
This is going to be one of the most prestigious implementation of the Telangana government, and the stage is being set for the same to the fullest capacity.
